Fri May 9, 2008: YWCHAC Panel on Young Women of Color, STDs & the Link to HIV

In response to a widely reported CDC study estimating that one in four (26 percent) of young women between the ages of 14 and 19 in the United States – or 3.2 million teenage girls – is infected with at least one of the most common sexually transmitted infections/diseases, the YWCHAC thought we all needed to talk!

The panel featured Dr. Sabrina Williams of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from Atlanta, GE and several others.
